Tsipras raises the issue of economic asphyxiation of farmers

Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras raised the issue of the “economic asphyxiation of the farmers” with a question to the prime minister on Tuesday, calling on Kyriakos Mitsotakis “to take specific measures even at the last minute.”

In his question, the leader of the main opposition accused Mitsotakis of “attempting to deceive farmers by announcing measures that are insufficient and less than the circumstances demand, amid conditions of unprecedented price spikes that affect primary production.
