After his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris on June 22, famous Canadian singer Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey planned a trip to Greece.
After Mykonos, the couple revealed on Instagram that they are enjoying their holiday on the island of Milos, away from the paparazzi and the singer’s fans who do not leave him alone.
This is not the singers first time to praise Greece to the 180 million followers on his Instagram account.
He had done the same in 2015 and 2016 when he visited the beautiful Santorini, mainly for business purposes.
In fact, the first part of the video clip “Company”, which was released in 2016, has been shot with footage from his tour of the island.
The singer, for those who do not know it, maintains excellent relations with Greece, specifically with the music producer Costas Kalimeris who has a recording studio in Santorini.
Justin Bieber recorded his album “Purpose” at the Santorini-based “Black Rock Studio.”
The Greek artist had spoken about Justin Bieber in 2016 with the best words, stating that he is a very friendly and professional:
“The connection was made last year when he first came. I think he loved the place and wanted to come back to do a part of his recording this year. Beyond that, he is a very successful artist and he has a very good team around him, which is very important.
“He is very friendly and professional. I believe that if you are not smart and professional you cannot succeed. It was very honourable for me to come again. I believe that Santorini will be a destination that he will visit often.”
It is not excluded that the famous couple’s vacation to the Cyclades Islands will be included in a new episode about his life, which is shown on his YouTube channel, where he also maintains another feat of being the only artist with 50 million subscribers.
As revealed by Cobalt Music executive Dimitris Tsakoumis through his personal Instagram account, the singer visited the picturesque villages of the island and chose “humble” taverns to eat at instead of luxurious restaurants.
“In the medusa tavern, in the picturesque (although not as famous as the much photographed Klima) Mandrakia, Justin Bieber ate privately yesterday and obviously went crazy for grilled sardines, he even took four packets of the seafood delicacy to go back on the boat,” he said.
Tsakoumis then revealed that Bieber befriended a 79-year-old man, known as Mr. Andreas, who “opened the yellow door for us.”
