One of the most famous and beautiful stars of world cinema, Monica Bellucci, will be coming to Greece to perform as the legendary Greek soprano Maria Callas, a year after the event’s postponement due to the pandemic.
Bellucci will appear at the Herodion Theatre in Athens on September 21, 22 and 23 to interpret letters and memories of Maria Callas and seduce the Greek audience in her first theatrical appearance, under the direction of Tom Wolf.
The love of the Greek public for the Italian star is so great that it tickets “disappeared” in record time, prompting organisers to add another day to meet the needs of unprecedented demand.
Under the title “Maria Callas: Lettres & Mémoires” (“Maria Callas: Letters and Memories”) the show first premiered in November 2019 at the Marigny Theater in Paris and continued with a sold out tour wherever it went.
