Olympiakos defender Ruben Semedo was arrested on Monday night after his 28-year-old partner filed charges against him claiming she had been beaten.
According to media reports, the pair, who are living together in the Portuguese footballer’s house in the southern suburb of Glydafa, had a fight, during which he allegedly hit her, injuring her at the collarbone. He then locked her our of the house and she called the police.
